If you order a cloud hosting plan from our company and if you use our mail services, you will be able to activate anti-spam protection for any of the mailboxes that you set up from the Email Manager section of your Hepsia Control Panel. With just a few clicks of the mouse, you can select between five separate safety levels. In case you start getting spam, you can start with the lowest level and then gradually increase the level till you stop getting spam. We make use of one of the best and most famous filters out there called SpamAssassin. It analyzes the header section and the body of every message that you receive and calculates a spam score, based on which it either deletes a particular email message or allows it to enter your mailbox. The Hepsia Control Panel will also permit you to create custom filters and either erase undesired emails or send them to a 3rd-party email address like spam@domain.com where you can read them once again later.
Spam Filters in Semi-dedicated Servers
If you use a semi-dedicated server plan from our company and if you create one or more mailboxes with any of the domain names hosted in your account, you will be able to activate the advanced, five-level SpamAssassin filter that we offer and keep all unsolicited messages out of your inbox. This functionality is accessible through the Hepsia Control Panel’s Email Manager section and it can be enabled or disabled for any mailbox whenever you wish. You can also alter the protection level with a couple of clicks of the mouse if spam email messages continue to reach your mailbox or the email filter starts removing legitimate email messages. As you can select if the spam should be deleted immediately or redirected to another email address, you can set up spam@domain.com, for instance, and check all filtered messages there, so as to make sure that you won’t miss an email message that you need. The emails that the email filter allows to proceed will still be delivered to your inbox.
