A catch-all feature that is activated for a specific mailbox will permit you to receive emails that are sent to addresses that do not actually exist. In other words, if you delete an email address and somebody still sends an email message to it, or to any mistyped address under the very same domain name, you’ll get the email in the catch-all mailbox. Using this feature implies that you won’t miss an email for any reason whatsoever, which could be essential in case you are running some company, for example. Since you may start receiving spam messages, you can combine the catch-all option with email filters so as to receive only real messages in your inbox. Only one single mailbox per domain name can be a catch-all one and email forwarding cannot be enabled for a catch-all mailbox.

Catch-all Emails in Cloud Hosting

You will be able to create a catch-all e-mailbox without effort if you’ve got a cloud hosting plan with our company. The Email Manager tool in our in-house built Hepsia hosting Control Panel is feature-loaded, yet remarkably simple to work with, and it will enable you to enable different options, including the catch-all one, with only a few clicks of the mouse. All the mailboxes that you’ve set up will be shown alphabetically in this section and on the right side of each one of them you will find a mini "Catch-all" symbol. Clicking it once will enable the feature, clicking it twice will disable it. Since you can have just one such catch-all mailbox per domain, our system will inform you if you’ve already got another mailbox with this feature enabled or if you have active email forwarding.

Catch-all Emails in Semi-dedicated Servers

The catch-all functionality can be activated effortlessly in case you’ve got a semi-dedicated server plan with our company. All the email addresses that you have set up using the domains hosted in the semi-dedicated server account will be shown in the Hepsia Control Panel’s Email Manager section and you will find a mini sign handily located directly next to each one. With just one click, you can enable or disable the catch-all option for any mailbox of your liking as long as there isn't another mailbox under the same domain with the option already enabled and there isn't active email forwarding. Instead, you can right-click on an email address and activate this feature through the context menu that will show up. In case any of the conditions for creating a catch-all mailbox is not fulfilled, our system will notify you, but will not disable or replace anything automatically.
